A good mood is equal to a good life. This life can be a little tough but one good thing you can do for yourself is to always stay in a good mood no matter the situation. Whenever you feel down, sad or lonely, don't dwell on it, rather you should take one or two of these mood boosters highlighted below and put it to use: 

1. Smile: As simple as it might sound, smiling is a very crucial mood booster. When you smile, it triggers mood-boosting hormones in the brain. So even if you don't feel happy, put a smile on your face and soon you might start to feel more positive. 

2. Keep busy: When you are not doing anything to keep your mind off that situation or worry, you will dwell on it so much that being moody will be constant. Get busy with something, might be as little as tidying the room or washing the dishes or going for a walk. Just do any activity that makes you break the routine and give you a sense of achievement. 

3. Talk to someone: Doesn't matter if it's face to face or just through a call or chat. Talking to someone you love and trust, someone who is funny and nice will help lift your mood. Connecting with others brings you out of yourself. 

4. Get enough sleep: Sometimes all you need is to sleep. When you don't sleep well and enough, there's a tendency to be moody. So, make sure you get enough rest, at least 8 hours of sleep daily. This way, you can always be sure to be in a good mood daily. 

5. Talk to yourself positively: How do you talk to yourself? If you talk to yourself negatively, it tends to have a bad effect on you. Nobody's perfect, but give yourself benefit of the doubt and recognize if you need an attitude adjustment.
